Learn about all things "open" at the School of Open
What is "open"?
Not enough people know what "open" really means. We hear about open source software, open content licenses, such as Creative Commons licenses, open educational resources (OER) - but how do they really work, and how do they help me?
A collaboration with Creative Commons
The School of Open is co-led by P2PU and Creative Commons, a nonprofit that develops, supports, and stewards legal and technical infrastructure that maximizes digital creativity, sharing, and innovation.
Learning about "open"
The School of "Open" will offer courses, study groups, and design challenges around teaching what "open" means in the world around us, whether it's in education, technology, media, or government. Potential courses include "A History of Openness", "Openness 101", and those already created below!
